No, this isn't a pimp-the-bloggers post. Although, we will most likely have such a post in the future.
What we want to know is: do you like to play Horde or Alliance? How many different characters do you have in World of Warcraft? Which one is your highest ranked?
What's your favorite Realm? How much do you play a week?
Give us all the gritty details in the comments.

A few alts, none above level 25.

I have 3 alliance and two horde on Stormreaver and Bloodhoof, but I only care about one of them: My level 36 Female Gnome Warrior on Stormreaver. I like the alliance better because. They're not as ugly (except for dwarf females).

And there the problem lies.
The alliance, while populated by select honorable individuals, has become a haven for tweens who want to roll up an attractive toon.
I believe it was Joystiq.com that first reported on the Blizzard porting their new race (Blood Elves) to the Horde in hopes that the players(idiots) who based their gaming on how f*ckable their characters are might come over to the Horde side.
Sorry. Rant. God I hate allies sometimes. I play on gorefiend (PvP) and have a 50 warrior, 29 Druid, and 41 Warlock.

Heck, probably rolling at least one more Alliance and 2 more Horde as well, soon. Have to get every class up to 60 before the expansion comes out.
I don't care if you're horde or alliance, because a lot of the models are great. Well, except the trolls. They're terrible looking.

I only play horde and currently have 3 level 30's (warrior, druid, warlock). I thought I'd quit the game a couple months ago and deleted a 60 undead warlock and a 60 orc warrior.

Heyas - I've been playing WoW since launch (er, open beta) with a hiatus from just before BG until last week. I have about 20 different toons, all Horde with the exception of a lvl 5 gnome mage, and a lvl 1 ne rogue (who dances naked when my other servers are down for maintenance). I am 29 - and find that overall the Horde have a more mature player base (though that is hard to tell if you listen to barrens general chat). My highest char is a 53 hunter but grew tired of him and started playing with my alts. Since coming back I rerolled a new main on Malfurion and have my Troll mage up to 23 - if you are in the neighborhood give a tell to Malff.

In general, the Horde has more adult players. It also has more of the most powerful guilds (the ones that complete endgame content first). For those reasons I roll Horde.

I only play my main - lvl 60 Tauren warrior on Stormrage.
I started a rogue and a warlock to lvl 8 (each), but once I started getting in the groove with my warrior, I lost any interest in pursuing other characters (at least for now).
Once the expansion comes out, I think I'll roll a Blood Elf. I'm a pretty casual player (less than 20 hours a week). I just dinged 60 last night and I've been on WoW since January.
I'll only play horde, because horde kicks ass. If you're on Stormrage and looking for a bigger warrior to round out your raid, give Grimloch a tell.

I've got toons on both PVP servers and PVE. Horde on Tichondrius (PVP) and Alliance on Windrunner (PVE). My shaman is level 58 and I've got a 60 Mage and 41 Druid.
I think the tendency is that more of the new players play alliance just because they are more familiar characters. I've certainly seen just about the same level of behavior in both OG and IF general over time so I wouldnt say that either side has an edge on maturity. That being said, horde does come across as the underdog just because of numbers so there is a bit of a "fighting against the majority" feeling. Especially on a pvp server.

Mondras - 16 tauren warrior.

I've got two charectors, one on Kael'Thas, the other on Stormrage. One is a lvl 26 Human Female Priest, the other's a lvl 23 Gnomish Male Mage. I probably play 20-40 hours a week, though it's been going down recently. I've only had the game a few months.

I've been alting for some time now. I couldn't keep up with the guild schedule for raids so my lv 60 mage has, well, been in holding. I debate if I would move her if Blizzard offers paid character transfer. My lv 60 priest would most certainly move though.
I've been playing less (which is quite easier if you're just alting) probably more like 10-16 hours a week.

Cenarius HORDE! I got a 53 warlock and a 30 rogue. My only problem with the alliance is that they are usually soooo overpopulated! at one point (im not sure if it has changed) but the Horde to NIGHT ELF ratio on Cenarius was 1:1!
I can't play that much because of AP classes...
Undead wins because they cast spells with their hands held in horns... they also have Will of the Foresaken.....

I have 10 alliance and 2 Horde, I don't prefer one over the other. I happen to like gnomes as a race. Being Female that really doesn't sound all the strange haha!
I started my horde on the Azshara pvp realm, I haven't noticed the horde there being very mature at all! But I have heard rumors about the pvp realms being full of 14 year old boys : With any game on either side you will get tards that act 12.
Being that my toons are all female, I don't find them attractive. Just cute :P

Carebear RP servers here.
60 level hunter, 50 level gnome warrior, a few other alts. The one thing that has always stopped me from going too far with Horde characters is the Barrens. By the time I finish all the quests there, I've gotten tired of running for an hour to pick up my body. They definitely need more quests in Mulgore/Silverpine, or a new area for Horde lowbies.

53 Orc Warrior "Merak" on Ursin is my main.
She's rank 4 (down from 5 after a weeklong vacation...d'oh!). All my various alts aren't even worth mentioning...the highest-level alt I have is 25.
Well, except for "Carcer," a 45 Human Rogue on Lightbringer. But he doesn't see much action anymore.
