Gold farming on new servers

For weeks now, you have been harvesting the level 60 raid instances to pop that sweet new BeastStalker Belt, but to no avail. Finally as you are reaching the end of your rope, the latest pickup raid group pops your belt! Everyone passes the roll and then it is decided it is down to you and another hunter to roll for it. The other hunter doesn't speaky english, so you are getting a little nervous. Next thing you know the other hunter has snagged the belt and hearthed away. You have just been ninja'd by a Gold Farmer.
This is the first time I have started a new character on a new server in a long time, so I was curious to see how this gold buying works. I went to check out Favgames and IGE today because I was curious how the economy of this new server would compare to my old. Lo and behold, the new server is not even listed! I realize it is fairly new, but how long does it take for the Gold Farmers to move in to a new server? Stay tuned as we will unveil the server names soon for our shiny new WoWInsider guild!

You should do a post with a bunch of usefull/fun WoW links for us to investigate. Not only usefull stuff (eg Throttbot) but intresting blogs and things like that. It gets pretty boreing sitting in my computer class these days with exams comeing up and I would love to have some links to persue in my spare time.

I doubt it will be long before gold start to trickle in, since you can get a character to 60 in a matter of days--especially if you have sweat shop labor to grind through 24/7.
But it will be a while until pick up raids and level 60s are common, and that's really what the gold farmer need in order to have a business.
But rest assured, they're on the server, working their gold farmer magic =P

Hope they're PVP. Well, at least the Horde one...
Don't think I'll ever go back to Alliance.

How are you being ninja'd in an end game instance for a green/blue/purple? Almost every run I go on is master looter, and only the ML gets to loot greens and above. I could understand if you have a ninja for a ML, but luckily I've never had that happen. Even on a group loot you should get to roll for it.
The only way I think this could happen is in FFA looting, but who does that in instances?
