Breakfast Topic: Upcoming Holiday Festivities

The winter veil festival is almost upon us! Some of us
remember it from last year, some of us don't. Today our coffee topic turned to
what it was like, the quests they had, etc. I remember eggnog and holiday
cookies, I started using cooking just to make those! I also remember farming
small eggs because they were going for ridiculous prices on the AH and I was
still a low level character - not that I have made it much further yet :).We discussed the new reindeer mount, of course, but we also discussed ideas for other quests. I bet they will have a winter present quest that is geared towards the orphans, as they have done with other holidays in the game. Perhaps they could make some kind of Santa’s helper spell, something of a cross between a gnome and an elf?
I am looking forward to the patch going in tomorrow, December 15th. What are your fondest memories of last year’s celebration?

Last year? It wasn't out in Europe this time last year, so I missed all the fun. :-(

The quests were rather mundane last year, but the reward was an item that turned you into a snowman. You could also throw snowballs and if the target was grouped with you, you would knock them down. It was fun but short-lived fun.
