Ahn'Qiraj supply monitored

We've seen the vast numbers of resources required to open the
Gates of Ahn'Qiraj--but how can you help?Firstly, a large number of sites are springing up monitoring individual servers' progressions towards their total. There are also efforts to monitor every server thanks to a UI addon, so help your server become the first to open the gates! (Note, the list is probably slightly out of date because it only updates via people with the addon.)
Some servers with especially imbalanced Alliance:Horde ratios have started donating goods to the Horde side, allowing trusted Horde and Alliance guilds to work together towards the common goal--however, as it's the "war effort", needless to say this isn't on any RP servers!
I logged in my mid-forties Night Elf last night and decided to contribute to the war effort as much as I could. Several hours later I had stacks of raptor flesh, Stranglekelp, Rainbow Fin Albacore, and Silk Bandages to hand in--the green items I received weren't particularly good (especially as some of the items I handed in were fairly low-level) but useful for disenchanting nonetheless. I've now sworn to get my tradeskills higher so I can continue to contribute.
Thottbot has proved invaluable in finding out where to look for various items while still gaining XP--I managed to level while farming raptors in STV, which was nice! However, a fishing skill-up bug means that fishing levels are extremely slow to gain at the moment.
I don't think the "grinding" style of play is particularly interesting, or suits me very well, but it's nice to have some ultimate reward, even if the xp and item gains from the War Effort quests are fairly low.
The item collectors are in the Military Ward in Ironforge and the Valley of Spirits in Orgrimmar: get collecting and do your server proud!

Considering the in-game story says the Horde and Alliance are joining together to battle the big bad evil of Ahn'Qiraj, wouldn't cooperation be MORE likely, not less, on the RP servers? I've never played RP so maybe you know something I don't.

I'm on an RP server, and I play a 60 NE druid, as well as a 36 tauren warrior. With my druid, I've been getting a ton of mats together and posting them for super cheap on the Gadget AH (like 2 copper each). Mostly been putting up mageweave, rugged leather, and runecloth (for bandages). I'm on Feathermoon if you all want some free, cheap stuff.
My 36 warrior horde-side hasn't gotten into the whole war thing yet. He's still too busy pwning all alliance in Warsong Gulch :P

I'm on Feathermoon, and our guild is doing the same thing, supplying the Horde side with our excess mats. Last night one guy transfered over 1000 runecloths.

HA! The two servers I am on are at 15% and 0%. I guess Dark Iron is to mixed up in its own intense PvP stuff and Gul'Dan is relatively new, so it's not all that surprising.

Durotan is currently 33 on the list. I kind of wish these peeps would stop screwing around and do something. Everyone is busy doing the same old quests and looking for groups. At this point, I think Medivh has this one. They're going to be really hard to catch up to.

let's see what blizzard does with the servers that don't get there fast enough. open the gates anyway? or just leave those people without the dungeons until they finish it.
