Interesting NPC names
Having come across some of Blizzard's new auctioneer NPCs--Auctioneer O'Reely in Booty Bay, and Auctioneer Yarly in the Undercity--it seems either inspiration is running low, or Internet memes are all the rage for NPC naming. Have you encountered any strangely named NPCs? What's the best NPC name you've seen?

I didn't notice it until recently but I think it's pretty funny that the first names of the bankers in Stormwind are Olivia, Newton, and John.

I liked the gnome dressed in green named Linken, of whom you have to take his training sword to get upgraded.

Klannoc Macleod, "The Islander", in the Barrens.
The cooking trainer in Stormwind's name is Stephen Rybak. Ask a guard in town about the cooking trainer, he says something about how he handles a knife and how he probably wasn't always a chef. Compare to "Under Siege" (Steven Segal playing Casey Rybak).
I think some mages in Stormwind also say something about "crossing-the-streams bad", a la Ghostbusters, and there are kids running around town that make a number of movie references. And I think the apothecary shop, is named "Five Deadly Venoms" or something like that, a Shaw brothers reference.
There's a quest with the aforementioned Gann Stonespire called the "Revenge of Gann", where you have to blow up a flying ship. Compare to the "Wrath of Khan".
An undead florist named Algernon in Undercity.
I can't tell if Witch Doctor Bombay refers to Bewitched or to the Del the Funkee Homosapien alter ego.
There's a stable master named Wesley in Hillsbrad. Compare to stable master Westley from the Princess Bride.
The transpolyporter pad quest has an engineering supplier named Sovik (Savik) send you to Chief Engineer Scooty (Scotty) to repair a transporter to send you to Gnomeregan. On the other end of the transporter is Spork (Spock) with an "Away Team".
There's a million of these. Try http://members.cox.net/kemal/woweggs.htm

Dwukk, the smithing trainer in Razor Hill who says, "If I hear one reference to waterfoul, you'll be eating through a tube."
Finkle Einhorn in Blackrock Spire. Reference from Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (Finkle is Einhorn...Einhorn is Finkle!)

There is a Tauren at Winterfall, Everlook called Storm ShadowHoof (as in GI Joe's infamous Cobra ninja Storm Shadow) and another tauren at Camp Mojache in Fearlas named Hadoken Swifthoof, named after Ryu's fireball move from the Streetfighter games.

I would comment on NPC names if I could get into WoW. Anyone else having a hell of a time with authentication / character retrieval times since the holidays? My buddies and I are getting pretty fed up.
