Scepter of the Shifting Sands Quest Summary
TS, of the rather frighteningly competent Blighted guild on Alleria,
has written up an excellent summary of the Scepter of Shifting Sands quest.

Now I'm incredibly jealous. I'll never be in a position to enjoy most of this quest, since I don't currently have the gear or the guild to pull it off. I'm currently in between guilds and by the time I settle into one comfortably enough to participate, this entire chapter in WoW will be over. I'll just have to content myself with all the juicy new content after the scepter is completed and the gong is rung on my server.

Glad to see Blizzard is still investing 90% of its resources on content that only around 10% of its customers will ever get to see.
Idiots.

Looks like some really sweet content and such, but i agree with L'Emmerdeur. Not everyone is 60, they just happen to be the most vocal on the WoW forums... and with the server im playing on now (Chromaggus) there are far more lvl 30s than 60s. Some new content for the ppl who like making new chars more than grinding raids once they ding 60 would be greatly appreciated.

lvl 60 isn't even enough, you have to be lvl 60 and in a major guild to really enjoy these things.
being lvl 60 will be a very common req for new things, that i don't find that odd. as even with new servers there will be many 60s soon enough.

Oh yeah Blizzard should make more quests that are 'kill x of y' and 'collect z of a'. Those are so fun and everyone can play them!
