Mayhem in Moonglade

The Lunar Festival is underway, as if we
hadn't got enough world events to be getting
on with. Buy fireworks from vendors in all major cities, and set them off to gain access to that heretofore secluded
Druidic retreat, Moonglade. Pay your respects to Elders around Azeroth and gain coins which you can exchange for items
in Moonglade; team up and defeat a demonic ex-hero, Omen, and bask in the light of Elune.Or, rather; get barred from an Omen raid because you're under level 50, waste money on fireworks in Stormwind when the quest is bugged (you have to let them off in Ironforge or Orgrimmar for them to count towards the quest), and glare at the smug Druids teleporting to Moonglade at will.
The Lunar Festival is an interesting distraction, and with fifty Coins of Ancestry to collect, there's reputation aplenty to be gained. Fortunately, you can get Elune's Blessing from Omen's body without being in a raid group, so you may be able to complete all of the Lunar Festival quests without being level 60--hunting for those coins in opposite-faction cities may be interesting, however!

i killed omen after die'ing at least 15 times
first 11 times where duo to people just running around and pulling him and no plan
then i died 4 times when someone finaly took over and started to sort things out

Absolutely simple to do. I was able to complete the Omen quest on my level 12 alt, as well as my level 44 mage. Gave a good 7,250XP as well.

how was it easy on a lvl 12 alt? did you just join a raid group and have a high lvl kill him or what?

Rather yet, get your low level human/dwarf/gnome to Darnassus without mooching off your high level mage friends. The flight from Moonglade to Auberdine is a little over 8 silver, plus the costs of the fireworks.. pretty good deal.
And get 4950 experience points for talking to one guy in Nighthaven (make sure to talk to the fireworks quest giver twice).
Lunar Festival = good thing.

YOU DONT HAVE TO SET OFF THE FIREWORKS IN IRONFORGE!!! All you have to do is click on the fireworks launcher each time before you fire off the fireworks. Me and a buddy did it in Darnassus last night and it worked fine. Just FYI.

i 'killed' omen at level 15... ya... i did get into the raid too! it was very funny doing 15 damage or so every minute, dying everytime he used his AOE damage spell. But i killed omen before on my priest in a guild run after doing MC. There was a glitch in the fireworks quest where one shot counted for two so that is pretty weird...

Tis simple, don't even have to be in a raid to finish quest either. As long as you have the quest to kill Omen and he drops, you merely stand in the circle of ligth until you receive the buff and the quest reads complete. Cake please:)

Of course if you're Horde (on DarkIron at least) and go to Moonglade, expect to be set upon with terrible vengenace by Alliance who tend to out number the horder presence there (if no where else) by at least 5 to 1. I've never seen so many skeletons in all my days of WoW as I've seen there.
Oh and for the above poster, that's gotta be the lamest way to complete a quest I've ever heard.
