Breakfast Topic: GM for a Day

Omnipotence, omniscience, and having to deal with users' complaints day in, day out; being a GM has its ups and downs. If you suddenly found yourself in the shoes of a GM, for one single day, what would you do with your power? Is it time for revenge, or would you seek out those in need of help? Would you run rampant on the forums? Glide invisibly around the world?
Of course, GMs can't make gameplay changes, but you could perhaps escalate a particular pet proposal that's in the pipeline. The notion of character transfers is one I'd like to put some weight behind, plus some mechanism for international co-operative play. With a GM's power, I'd love to just explore the world, invisible and untouchable. A day might not be long enough, though.

I think I would like to explore a lot. Really a lot. As it is I enjoy attempting to get to place I'm not supposed to. Might be a lot easier with a GMs power. I really enjoy the "How the hell did you get there???" from my teammates ^^
Another thing I'd like to do would be setting a trap. Like being disguised as a lowbie-horde (my powers not detectable to the common player) and run around some area to wait for gankers and especially spawn campers. I'd really love to take it out on them once they come at me. Although the big downside to this is I couldn't see their faces when that "easy prey" of theirs really whoops their asses. ^^
Hmm on second thought being able to undress them completly (including weapons of course) would be cool. Just a small macro that'd do that for the target. Take away all their stuff and mail it to them 30 minutes later ^^
Boy that'd be fun ^^

I would hunt down all the gold farmers and dupers and ban their account and severe their fingers, so their stumpy hands would never enter another mmo :P

It would actually make for an interesting contest for Blizzard. The winner gets flown to the Blizzard HQ, participates in the secretive "planning disscussions", resolves player issues, beta test Burning Crusade, hunt down gold farmers, etc.
Not sure what you should have to do to win the contest, but I think you would get a lot of people competing for the prize and all it would cost Blizzard would be airline fare and a hotel room.

amazing video it would be fun to see a high res version of it... do they have plans for old ironforge? seems like a lot of work to build something like that and never use it
