Real Orcs Never Ask Directions...
For anyone (like me) who has ever found themselves
lost on the way to Wailing Caverns, the World of Warcraft
Atlas is a pretty handy thing to have around. Luckily, the Blizzard Online Store has put together a niftly little Atlas gift pack,
with a bunch of fancy trimmings, just in time to be late for Valentine's & early for Christmas!I'm not usually one for collector's items like this, but I'm seriously thinking about starting my own map-to-the stars business in Orgrimmar, and this just may be the ticket....

This is the same "gift pack" sold in stores, and has been in stores for several months.

I picked this up at my local Best Buy the other day, and it's packed with enough information to keep me from asking questions in General that invariably draw ridicule from the immature and the under-social. It also keeps me from flipping to my browser at...inopportune moments just because I need to know what vendor sells rabbits *right now*.
That, and it's a highly attractive book; it's coffee table quality, actually. Just keep in mind that it costs 35 USD retail.

I picked one up just a few weeks ago, although I did buy the "non-gift pack" Atlas alone, which is only $25 US. I didn't see how bookmarks were worth another $10. It is extremely useful though, and saves me from having to toggle out to the internet when I need to look up something fast. And it definitely is "coffee table quality". In fact, that's where mine is right now.

learn2code, try typing < / a > after putting in a link for specified text, now the entire front page is a link to blizzard market.

I agree.. I bought this book last week for $31 CDN and I must say, it's quite impressive. I was a little dissappointed that it didnt include maps for instances or much info about instances in general. Would be been nice to know which instances are Alliance/horde and perhaps recommended levels to enter them.
I like the huge listing of all the mobs and NPC's and where they are located.. I highly recommend the book. Even though you can find all this info and more online, Moonfaer said it right.. You dont have to alt-tab out to locate what you need and then alt-tab back in just to find yourself dead because a gang of Murlocs have spawned on top of you.

For anyone interested in picking this up without paying shipping, I've seen it for sale in Best Buy (around the game) and at EBGames. If anyone has seen it anywhere else, it might be a good idea to post that. I honestly knew nothing about this book and just happened upon it one day. Once people start finding out about it, I imagine it will sell like hotcakes.

I was going to get this until I saw some of the disappointing reviews on Borders.com. Now I'm not sure. I'd really like to have a reference that I could use without having to alt-tab.
