Latest WoW Novel Released
The latest novel in the WoW
series, Cycle of Hatred, by Keith
R.A. DeCandido, is now available at your friendly neighborhood bookstores. Set after the events of Warcraft III, the
book deals with the shaky truce between Orcs & Humans, and again follows the exploits of Orc War chief Thrall, which
was also the name of a pretty good Danzig album from a few years back, I think...The first couple of reviews have popped up on Amazon.com, and it's an even 50-50 split so far, with one glowing recommendation & one slam. If you care to decide for yourself, the first chapter is posted on Blizzard's web site for all to see, and the book can, of course, be ordered there as well.

Anyone read any of the other Warcraft books? If so are they well written?

I've only read four of the Warcraft books, but I found the writing a little towards the pedestrian. I did like "Lord Of The Clans", if only because it gave some background information on Thrall, and how he came to be the warchief of the orcs.
The Sunwell Trilogy was so so. Too many way too detailed battle descriptions, and the characters were not really fleshed out enough.
