I Am Not Your Shepherd...
So far, I've been pretty much ok with the changes
listed for v1.10, even though there were some things I would have liked to have seen included that weren't.
However, after teaming with my mage friend recently for the first time in a good while, there's now a new #1 on my
annoyances-that-need-to-be-fixed list: wandering sheep. No, I don't mean just randomly wandering sheep in some field somewhere; those I can deal with...most of the time. I mean the L45 monsters we were polymorphing into sheep, who then proceeded to run around the zone like greyhounds at a racetrack, attracting the attention of every other monster nearby. Ok, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but it was still pretty bad...death resulted.
According to this post on the official boards, I'm not the only one who noticed the issue, but the boys in blue claim that the spell is "working as intended". It's obvious to me, however, that polymorphed creatures seem to be wandering much farther from the fray than they used to. Anyone else having trouble tending to their flocks?

I may be imagining it, but yeah, I have noticed that they seem to go rogue a little more often than I am used to. I haven't had quite the same problem with them drawing aggro, but I am finding myself having trouble keeping an eye on where they are/should be in the heat of battle. I have more a problem with them wandering close enough to critters that I can either wait and hope they move away, or risk drawing aggro on the whole lot when I fire my next spell off at the sheep.
At least I'm not a gnome.

Yeah, that's slated to be "fixed". Where did you see a blue post saying that the pathing was fine?

Actually Sheeps Wandering have been confirmed as a bug. I believe it will be fixed in 1.10 but it hasn't shown up just yet. 1.10 is still not done.

Yup sheeps have been super wandering lately (though I thought it'd been fixed). This is a big problem especially in places like Scholomance which have mobs very closely grouped together and one slip will have 6 million shadowbolts shoved down your throat...my trick is use my 4 sec silence counterspell to pull in npc's then sheep them in a clear area..
