Add-Ons and Patch 1.10
It's that time again - a new patch means a brand new batch of broken UI mods. Don't blame Blizzard or your
favorite add-on developer, though - changes to the code base are common with each patch, and add-ons need a little time
to catch up once the test server shows up and the exact changes are known. However, starting with 1.10, the UI
gives a fairly ominous warning message when it encounters a problem: ThisAddonName has been blocked from an action
only available to the Blizzard UI. You can disable this addon and reload the UI. The message is fortunately more benign than it sounds, meaning only that the add-on is trying to access functions no longer allowed by Blizzard. Gello of Hyjal server has a good explanation of the technical issues involved in this particular error message, as well as discussing how to track down the specific add-on that's causing the problem. Also, WowWiki has a good tally of currently broken add-ons as well as their status.

I certainly know what this is for. This goes out to the people whom figured out how to spoof items using Lootlink. I know when I first taught everyone how to do it by editing the LUA that Blizz wouldn't be far behind us. I do think that this can be circumvented though, which is good news.

as mentioned already on the wowwiki link ct raid assist will be updated so it works fine again, it was a minor issue. it not working is just on the test server, a perfect way to make sure addons can work fine again once the patch goes live.
