Quillboars the New Alliance Race?

Ever since the announcement of the release of the Burning Crusade expansion, the question everyone's
debating has been what new race the Alliance will get in the upcoming expansion. Theories have ranged from Goblins, to
Murlocs, to all manner in between.The latest bit of conjecture over at the official forums is whether the race in question will turn out to be Quillboars. True, they're kind of an obscure race, but there is a pretty good case being made for the point over at this thread. It could all fit in pretty well with the established lore of Azeroth, and it would certainly give the Alliance a playable race as ugly as the Blood Elves are pretty, so, all in all, I've heard wilder theories. Blizzard is still tight-lipped on the matter for now, however, so it's still anybody's guess.

If my experience as a tauren has taught me anything, is that if Quillboar is the new alliance race, anyone who plays a quilboar is going to be Tauren bait. While not as bad as Murlocs, I still hate those things. :P

Until I see some races that have female models, all the murloc, quillboar, drenai theories can go die. I'm still hoping against hope for worgen. I wanna be a werewolf dammit!

It's going to be the Draenei. Check out the Blasted Lands. Blood Elves, Draenei, and the gateway to Outland.

i dont see it being any race or thing you can find in the game that you have to kill or do soemthing to for any sort of a quest. so my guess is it could be anything at all!! altho i wish we knew thats my guess so untill we find out for sure or from a reliable resource i wouldnt trust anythign i hear...
