Grinding 101
Quests? Who needs 'em? Well, actually, I kinda dig the quests in WoW; I think they're pretty darn well done. But, for all you powergamers & grinders out there who just can't be bothered to stop & smell the virtual flowers, this Grinding Guide might just come in handy.
It lists the best spots to stand in one place & click the attack button from levels 1 all the way through 60, and although it was written with Rogues in mind, it's still a viable guide for any class...as long as you don't mind missing out on 3/4 of the game.

Well, one doesn't have to stand in each area FOREVER. Grinding can be helpful to supplement the questing experience, and help a person level faster. I grinded in Shimmering Flats tonight for a little more than 2 and a half hours and got my 32 shaman up to 33 at a clip of 12 thousand XP/hour. Normally, when I quest, it's somewhere around half that.
