US Realm Maintenance
The US realms Aggramar, Archimonde, Burning Blade, Burning Legion, Dalaran, Earthen Ring, Eonar, Eredar, Gilneas,
Gorefiend, Kargath, Khadgar, Laughing Skull, Lightning's Blade, Llane, Mal'Ganis, Malygos, Shadow Moon, Thunderhorn,
and Thunderlord will be going offline for
additional maintenance on March 22 starting at 3:00 AM PST, hopefully to be back online by 6:00 AM PST. All I
can say is... uh oh - my realm is on that list! Hopefully, however, this will address existing latency issues on
these realms. We'll see!Filed under: Realm News, Realm Status, News items

What will it take before Blizzard realizes they need to focus on stability, rather than new features? It seems like they could easily release at least 2-3 patches dedicated to bug fixes and backend infrastructure improvements. Instead, their resources seem abnormally weighted towards development. Outrageous logon times, drops, general lagginess, inaccessibility to most new content (20-40 man raids?), server bias (to say nothing about the game in general) towards the Alliance; and now my server is continually on the ghetto server list? WTF? As a casual gamer on the Horde side, there are getting to be fewer and fewer reasons for me to justify a monthly fee for this game, and I'm already looking for what's next. Unfortunately other options are scarce, so it seems WoW wins by default. For now.
