1 to 60 in 48 Hours?
While browsing around the various WoW sites, I
came across this guide from WoW Guru, claiming to show how to
level from 1to 60 in only 2 days. It's basically a big list of grinding spots, but even if you pumped yourself full of
Hunter S. Thompson-quality speed & grind-ed away for 48 hours straight, surely this can't be possible...can it?The various comments from players on the guide seem to be divided into whether this is feasible or not; some claim to have done it, other's claim it's impossible. All I know is, if it IS possible, then it sure as heck shouldn't be. I know powergamers will always find a way to beat the clock, as it were, but the level cap should not be able to be attained in just 2 days. Or should it? What do you all think?

In DAoC, after the game had been around a couple of years, they just started throwing options to just have new hight level characters by doing /level
I dont have a problem with getting to 60 quickly, I dont encourage it, but do what ya gotta I guess.

It shouldn't, but it's not happening in WoW anyway.

I think it's a fine idea, Bliz should offer a second method of leveling, for those people who need a certain type of character and don't want to go through the hoops of quests and whatnot. Also, is it 48 hours of gametime? Because 48 hours of gameplay is 9-5 for 6 days!

The record is about 4 1/2 days, so no. Not possible.

Its possible, but keep in mind this is most likely waiting for full rest. So don't go thinkin your gonna get your 60 this weekend.

I actually had full rest for all of lvl 50 and got to 51 on a short ZF run and a about half an hour of grinding in Felwood. Based on that, if you had full rest all the way to 60 I think it actually might be possible.

I personally think it should be like the army, where you can't gain levels without a minimum time per level (ramping of course). But that's just me. And I'd only have this sort of thing in in place if it were super easy to level.

More important, if you're not doing any quests just grinding up to 60 then be prepared to have crappy green loot. Unless you have a reliable guild to go raiding post-60, you'll be a 60 in greens and that's just sad.
The good loot comes from quest.

Too bad this guide was originally posted here on a different powerlevelling thing.
The guy just copied this grinding guide (http://www.roguespot.com/guides/grindingguide.htm) and reposted it without giving credit for the original author.
Lameness for the win.
