April Fool's with Blizzard

While I could be wrong, I'm guessing
this announcement of the new Alliance
race is an early April Fool's joke. Not just because the idea of a "wisp" race came completely out
of the blue, but because their racial abilities seem downright odd. My personal favorite has to be
treeform, which turns the wisp into a tree for 30 seconds. During this time, spirit is increased by 300 but the
wisp's chance to dodge or parry axes is reduced by 50%.Edit: Eyonix claims this is "no joke" but I still think he's joking.

The murloc rumors have been floating around for quite a while now - long enough to where I wouldn't actually call them an April Fool's joke. And at this point, who knows - Blizzard could suprise us and make the new Alliance race murlocs.

Just look at the screenshots!!!
In the log of the second one: "You die. Permanently."
And instead of "Resurrect" it says "Reroll character".

I'm sooooo glad to see Blizzard has time to pull jokes when servers go down and performance is crap. It gives me so much confidence about how much respect they have for the player base

I'm so sick of people whining whenever Blizzard tries to do something fun and good. You don't really think that everyone working on the servers just has to stop and post April Fools jokes. Seriously, Blizzard has many people working for them.
I still wish last years joke was real.

I'm ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN, 100%, that the people who fix the servers are the people who make these jokes. Uh-huh, it's a definite fact. Also, I'm ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that these screenshots were made today at the expense of server maintenance. There's no way they've been in the pipeline for a while, no way at all. Finally, I'm ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that they were not an attempt to inject a bit of fun into a forum filled with 80% trolling, 5% blue posts and 15% of pure bitching about the blue posts.

Additional grass areas have been added to the enemy faction's zones. This grass is exceptionally green.

Yeah, I love how Caydiem's "Patch 1.11 notes" are essentially everything that people have ever asked for on the forums, but when they are collected together it looks tremendously silly. I hope people are realizing that.
