I've been very anxious since the initial Wisp announcement
- worried that April Fool's might just be a cover for quietly distributing the news of a crazy concept race.
Thankfully, my fears were unwarrented - on Monday Blizzard let us know that they were only kidding. Now we can get back to the hard work of
speculating about what the new race might actually be!

Those racial traits sealed the deal for me too. I mean detonating and draining 50 mana. I'd say that takes the cake over the tauren stomp.

Permadeath was what put it over the top for me. Blizzard might make little mistakes in balance, but nothing that one-sided.
I stand by my prediction that it's Draenai. I'd love to be wrong, but that doesn't ever seem to happen. :)

It would be ridiculous to see a bunch of wisps with swords hovering around them. And armor is another story.

well duh! the idea of wisps on itself might have been possible though very unlikely, but with those racial traits and the part about their facial hair and on april fools it was so clear.

Burgercraft would have been a awesome Idea! I would eat there all the time and rack up on hunger points.
