Introducing Naxxramas
In Warcraft
lore, Naxxrammas is the floating necropolis that is home to the lich Kel'Thuzad - and it's going to
be introduced in World of Warcraft in patch 1.11. (For more lore on Naxxramas and Kel'Thuzad,
check WowWiki.) There's little solid information on the place, other
than that it will be a raid dungeon with many bosses. Tseric chimed in today with a little additional information
on how casual players will be able to fit in to this grand story-line. He cryptically informs us:In one way or another, this war will touch on players lives more directly, now that the lair of Kel'Thuzad hovers over the lands and the lich's influence is tangibly focused.
In the past, Tigole has also mentioned a world even that he refered to as the Scourge Invasion, but it's still unclear as to how this will actually manifest in the game world. Any opinions?

I think a lot of people missed it, but in this MTV interview with Jeff Kaplan about the new weather system (which I finally saw the other day-- it was raining beautifully in Tirisfal), they make mention of the next world event.
"There's actually a Blizzard staffer watching fan reaction and preparing new weather patterns. He's not a full-time weather guy ? he's also preparing an upcoming worldwide invasion of the undead. But he's the one at the forefront of the "WoW" storm fronts."

"A worldwide invasion of the undead." Nice. Wonder if we'll see Arthas come back before the expansion.

Ha. Further research on Wikipedia gives me this: "(A Blizzard source however has been quoted as telling eager listeners not to expect to meet Arthas until at least level 80, which is when Northrend is anticipated to be released in a second expansion pack - Rumours are that he is to be the pinnacle of the World of Warcraft raid encounters)." Arthas won't show up anytime soon.

Additional lag? Larger queues? More bugs?

As usual dungeons will appear only in 1.12 :(. What is known about bosses? Will be there Kel'Thuzad himself?

I heard that the 40 man instance behind the Baron in Strat is supposed to be the new instance befor the expansion.

#3 - Not to play devil's advocate, but so far, in the last week, now that the auth issues have subsided, I've had -less- lag than ever before, and 0 queues. The only weather I've seen has been fog in Alterac, but it seems like things are only improving.

"...now that the lair of Kel'Thuzad hovers over the lands..."
The use of the word "hovers" sounds intriguing. Clue perhaps?

Sonburn- I believe that I read somewhere that the dungeon will literally "hover" above Strathome. Can someone back me up on this or am I making stuff up?

I believe Joe is correct, though I want to say that I read somewhere that it would hover over the Eastern Plaguelands (outside the instance) as well...
