Starting this Tuesday and lasting for a week, Children's Week allows you to temporarily adventure around Azeroth with an orphaned child. We'll see what exactly the quests and events are (and whether they're any different from last year's) tomorrow when the event opens!Filed under: Events

I spotted a few orphans following players last week and picked mine up just before the 'leak' was fixed. The kid and I still managed to get every quest done until Jaina wouldn't give us her autograph.
It would be nice if the quests are different, so I can get even more experience and reputation out of it (650 exp + 75 Alliance or Horde rep per 'attraction'), but they seem to match what I've read on Thottbot from last year.

I thought this quest was on last week, coinciding with Children's Day in Japan on May 5. I completed the chain completely in about an hour. I guess it was before it was removed.

Anyway, my druid managed to complete the quest series tonight before server maintenance. The pet rewards are pretty cool. I see many turtles around Stormwind right now, so I went with Mr. Wiggles the piglet. He is über cute.
Then I picked up another kid and did the series with my young rogue. It took a little longer without a mount, but it's not too bad. I chose Whiskers the Rat this time. He's a little underwhelming, as he looks just like the rats in the tram, but white. That is until he starts singing like Murky! There's no top hat or dancing, but he seems to have the full routine down.
You can also take 5g, if you're so inclined. And to correct my first post: the first 3 attractions only earned 50 rep apiece, the last 2 each earned 75.

Yeah...this definitely true. I did all the missions in about an hour as well on the Malfurion server.

whistle the kid out when you are traveling , its better to shield him from your killing :P
