This video, Shadow of the Necropolis, gives us our first glimpse of action in the upcoming Naxxramas instance, included in the 1.11 patch, from the Blizzard previews at E3. Those are some seriously gnarly spiders...

Oh how I cannot wait for this instance. It will be a little while until my guild will probably do it but all of the amazing gear associated with this instance is amazing. Ahn'Quiraj has nothing on Naxxramas, not even close. New instances that actually follow lore we know about is much better than starting in an instance with Egyptian bugs.

Will there be a world event for this instance similar to the war effort for AQ?

There will be some sort of Scourge Invasion world event, but we don't have any details on it just yet.
