New Talent Calculators Online
Everyone seemed to complain that the talent calculators on the official web site were slow and difficult to use. The talent calculators on Wowhead seemed to be favored by nearly everyone I encountered, with their slick design and layout. Blizzard has taken note of this when redesigning their own talent calculators, which are now online. I find Blizzard's borrowing from community projects interesting (note also there are several features that are awfully similar to CTRaid Assist coming in patch 1.11) - any other opinions?Filed under: Blizzard

I personally find that to be fantastic. While a lot of end-game raiders and a select minority of casual players use a variety of mods, I'm thinking the vast majority of players don't understand computers enough or don't value the mods enough to actively seek them out. And I think that by integrating some of the greatest mods into the game, as they have done with the CTRaid-like additions, it's an acknowledgement that Blizzard doesn't think of everything and recognizes useful things when it sees them. The WoWhead talent calculator, likewise, is another such item. Now, I just wish that Blizzard would actually come out and recognize the individuals for their efforts. It would be a little bullish of them to just add the stuff in and say they designed it.

Aren't mages due for a talent tree redo? Is there a calculator for that?
