Faction System to be Reworked in Burning Crusade

Worldofwar.net has a quote today from Blizzard developer Rob Pardo, which states that the faction system in WoW will be getting somewhat of an overhaul in the upcoming Burning Crusade expansion. According to Pardo:"...we are looking to overhaul the way faction works in the expansion. It was one of those features that was put into the game in late beta and never really received the polish and refinement that it deserves."
So, hopefully that means that, unlike now, reputation will be somewhat easier to raise than the Titanic. I've probably grinded away more hours in this game trying to raise my faction rating with various groups than doing anything else; any restructuring of the system would be welcome in my book. Unless they make it harder, of course...but they wouldn't do that....would they?

I hope they do something about the faction with the Wintersaber. I don't mind the long grind, but when the winterfall are used in 3 (thottbot only shows Winterfall Activity) quests, ALONG with timbermaw rep, and the boss to get the bonus 25 timbermaw rep, the farmers out there are RIDICULOUS. Luckily SOME of the people there will party with you, besides the ones that have revered+ with timbermaw and want all the beads themselves, /spit on them. I've easily gone there during the weekdays and if it's not late, there is around 5-10 people there farming.

The difficulty in raising reputation was one of the reasons I stopped playing WoW for other games (although I look forward to playing again in the future if changes are made).
Since I don't have time to do raiding stuff with my guild, I thought one way to pick up some epic stuff (or some nicer stuff than what I have) was to get some reputation with the factions.
It didn't take long to see that I would be required to grind endlessly to make a dent. The time it was going to take me to get to revere status ... well, I simply couldn't rationalize spending that kind of time for such a low reward. I have a life that needs tending.

some factions are hell to raise
and some are easy
hydrxian water lord is easy to raise , i got to honored in no time , yet i didn't even finish the 1 quest line he give
while i'm stuck at Zalandar faction , sometimes i miss a raid , and that mean i miss on 200 rep points ! ( if we clear all to panther its around 300 rep points )
not to mention cenarion hold , with 1 point per kill and 55 point per quest completed , honored is very very far away
