Emergency Maintenance

An issue that was preventing players from logging on has resulted in the following realms being brought down for emergency maintenance at 4:15 PM PDT this afternoon. The plan is to have them back online by 8:00 PM PDT. Offline are: Aegwynn, Aerie Peak, Akama, Alleria, Altar of Storms, Anetheron, Archimonde, Cenarion Circle, Cenarius, Crushridge, Dalaran, Deathwing, Demon Soul, Doomhammer, Duskwood, Eldre'Thalas, Garona, Hyjal, Icecrown, Jaedenar, Kel'Thuzad, Khadgar, Kilrogg, Lethon, Lightbringer, Mal'Ganis, Moonrunner, Norgannon, Spirestone, Steamwheedle Cartel, Stormrage, Turalyon, Uldaman, Uther, and Zuluhed. My server's on this list, too, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that whatever is being done doesn't really take four hours to complete.

my server is awesome. i am on kirin tor and it is never down, even when crap like this happens ^_^

The maintenance currently affecting a select group of realms has placed additional stress on surrounding realms. Were aware that players may be experiencing performance or disconnection issues from this stress. Our network operations team is doing everything possible to lessen these performance issues; however we expect these performance issues to continue until the maintenance on the currently down realms concludes.

My server is NOT awesome. Got a grand total of 15 sec. advanced warning before server shutdown and the servers did not come back live again until 11 p.m. my time. Needless to say, it was a good night to get caught up on my TV watching and actually acknowledge my wife's presence.

My server was down last night but it wasn't really a bad thing. My wife and I actually got a full night of sleep instead of the 3-4 hours we usually get because of late night UBRS runs.

our server ysondre was thankfully up but made lfg hell. some people from the offline servers decided to make lvl 1 toons and flood /4 '[offline server] DOWN BLIZZARD FTW'. go level up in real life you ignorant tards.

We were pulling a Death Talon Overseeer pack before Ebonroc when our server went a little like this.
[SERVER] Shutdown in: 15:00
[Raid][Andarial]: WTF?
[Raid][Sonic]: WTF...gay
[SERVER] Shutdown in : 00:30.
This was five seconds after the 15:00. And now we have to pull that pack, which is one of the hardest BWL packs, again in about 5 hours. ._.

The game is almost unplayable after the last patch. Blizzard broke my game.

Frodo, last patch is wonderful, it brings us to balance. If you can't play with it, maybe you were using bugs of old game? :)
