Minor Patch Released
If you logged onto WoW yesterday, you're already aware that the latest version of the game has been updated to 1.11.1 (I'm only writing something in parenthesis here to allay the confusion that the period at the end of this particular sentence might cause). For those of you both curious & lazy, here are the updated patch notes:
Fixes softlock issues.
General
* The Looking For Group channel is now global.
* Escape Artist now displays a message in the combat log when it fails.
PvP
* Significant changes to the battleground Deserter debuff. The debuff should no longer be applied to characters incorrectly.
Druid
* The Omen of Clarity talent now lasts 10 minutes. The tooltip does not yet correctly reflect the new longer duration, and will be updated in a future patch.
Mage
* Evocation - Cool down reduced to 8 minutes.
* Pyroblast - Cool down removed.
Shaman
* Frostbrand and Flametongue weapon buffs are benefited by +spell damage.
Too bad that first sentence doesn't read 'no longer' instead of 'now', huh? And why are they announcing that twice? Just to rub it in our face? Lousy LFG channel...get out of my head.

Seriously, people should really stop bitching about the LFG channel. Get Call to Arms (http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/addons-1440-1-calltoarms-lfg-mod.html) problem solved.
Or better yet /leave 4

Great why didn't they fix the bug that a druid looses a considerable amount of health when changing into bear form? I just tried and was able to decrease my health by more than a third, over 1000 points by changing in and out of Dire Bear Form.
That's a real pain when playing. I normally have to change several times and its always hurting myself...

I disagree: it isnt "Lousy LFG channel...", but only stupid people who burn down something good into something bad with spamm, and out of context messages

I wholeheartedly agree with your statement. I'm really surprised Blizzard never came up with a built-in system like Call to Arms. I came to WoW from CoH and was impressed with nearly everything the game had to offer. The only thing that drove me crazy was the lack of a Find Group UI. At best, all I had was the LFG channel which was only linked to your current zone.
I assume that Blizzard will eventually implement a feature like this as they have already done so with the raid UI. If not, well, I suppose I'll just have to continue what everybody else has been doing. "/4 LFM..."

I don't know why people don't like the new LFG channel. With it my life has been made a lot more enjoyable during the time I play WoW. I hate having to sit in IF all day, but now I can go to EPL, or Silithus and grind while still LFGing on a global scale. True there are some fools who like to make it their personal playground but at least on my server this has died down significantly.

The LFG Channel is great, it's stupid morons that are the problem. Even more those that have to complain IN the channel ABOUT the channel, producing even more spam. That's like the most stupid thing to do.
Anyway, you don't even have to leave the channel, you can just disable it when you don't need it, like most of the time.
And if you realy want to tell people to stop spamming you can always use WHISPER. That's what it's for. Use it.
