At War With the Dawn
I really hope I never get this bored...Then again, your options do get pretty limited once you reach level 60; the same raids & dungeon crawls over & over, the endless grinding for reputation. Or you can do what this guy did, and just say to hell with it all & declare war on the Argent Dawn. And he photoblogged the whole thing over at notaddicted.com.
Yes, I guess it can be pretty annoying to other players when quest NPC's & the like are killed...especially by members of your own faction. But after all, that 'at war' tab IS there for a reason, is it not? It would be a shame to let it just go unused forever...or not.
In any case, it's something I would never do or never hope to encounter, but it does make for some funny reading over your cornflakes....

This isn't funny in the slightest. Some guy being an ass because he's too stupid to figure out what he can do BESIDES play WoW is just that, some guy being an ass.

I think all of the people that get worked up about this guy and others like him need to calm down. Yes, this guy and people like him are annoying. But WoW has taken many steps towards eliminating griefing, and compared to how it was during the Everquest days, these incidents are rather tame. For example, in EQ you could grief people while they were questing and even kill-steal event spawned mobs and take the quest items they were attempting to obtain. Imagine you were a horde warrior who loses his Quel because some guild decides to invade Ony's layer that day and take the sword for a paladin of theirs.
Franky just prevented these people from turning in quests for a short while. Oh no, go do something else and come back tomorrow.

Here's the thing though...guys like this obviously have little to no life outside WoW. He probably plays more WoW in one day than half the subscribers get to play in a week. Why let him ruin the game experience for other players (all of whom pay the same amount of money he does) just because he has the social skills of a six year old?
Sure, you can say "come back tomorrow". Guess what? There's a good chance he'll be there again. (read the comments to see how many people intend to try to replicate his actions) And for some players, coming back tomorrow is not an option. It would be more like "come back next week" or whenever they can grab some free time. Do you not see a problem with that?
Why Blizzard allows this to happen is beyond me. Griefing, especially like this, drives players away. Maybe that's part of their fix to lag problems.

That guy is a jerk but he's a hilarious one. I'd hate him if I played Alliance on his server... Anyone else read some of the other features at notaddicted.com, though? The cross-faction crap is what gets to me.
The fact that a person would pay for two accounts to play both sides and grief a PvP server is mind-boggling. Is it just me, or does this seem like a huge problem to anyone else? I'm sure it contributes to the horde/alliance Vent cooperation and PvP rigging that ruins so much for those of us losers who follow "the rules."
And every time some horde lowbie says "that rogue's my friend, I have a 60 dwarf hunter on this server," I want them to die.

HILARIOUS!
1. What a fun way to RP! :)
2. Clearly those people are idiots.
3. He did it with style!
What a great link :)

Wow, I can't belive you all bashed him. It's a part of the game. Heck! Look at all the people that kill Booty Bay people to get Bloodsail rep? I don't ever see people wine about these people. I think it's cool that this guy is completely decked and putting out a big scene to the WoW Community. Stuff like this makes the game fun. Where you can do ANYTHING in the game. Even attack your own allies. THAT, is fun! Quests? So what, you have endless amount of time to complete them, quit your complaining.
Last post: I'd agree with you. My guild (alliance) is on of the top end-game raiding guilds on my server, and they're teamed with one of the best horde guilds on the server. I saw a couple of them flagged, and I just started pounding on them, and next thing I know, I get BOMBARDED with whispers, guild messages, /yell's everything saying not to attack them... What the crap? They're horde, I'm alliance.. umm kill? Oh well, he shouldn't be flagged if he doesn't wanna fight allys.
