Breakfast Topic: Best Guild Name Ever

Guild names fall into several categories. You have your overly dramatic guild names (stuff like Unholy Union or Lethal Alliance), the one word guild names (Fate, Prophecy, Reborn, etc.) and finally funny guild names. While I don't think I'd want to be in a guild with a funny name, some of my biggest laughs at my computer have been courtesy of some original names. It's been a while since we have looked at the truly exceptional guild names, and a lot of hilarious names have popped up since then.Best Eric Cartman Wannabees: Taco Flavored Kisses and Faith Plus One
Offensive (yet still funny): Your Mom Is My Epic Mount and Dirty Horde
Totally Me In High School: Band Geek Mafia
Most Overdone: Pally Stole My Bike
Best Animal Reference: Squirrels Gone Wild
Best 80's Cartoon Reference: And The Holograms
Sadly, according to Warcraft Realms, most of these guilds no longer exist. I would guess some of them got their names changed within days of signing the charter, or maybe coming up with a clever guild name and running a good guild don't go hand in hand. Anyone else come across a particularly clever guild name lately?

My guild, has been complimented many, many times on Rexxar for our name ~ the "Channel Two News Team". Not only is it an amazing Anchorman reference, but it was created about the same time linked City-Trade-Channels emerged and when everyone started spamming , well, on /2. Just made our name all the more ironic.

An old Guild me and my buds started way back when.
"Wubbable Wabbits"
And of course we had the pink tabard with the white Bunny Icon. And each guild member carried around their Snowshoe Bunny non combat pet.
Pretty funny when we went killing to think of someone saying "Damn Wubbable Wabbits killed me again"

My favorite horde guild names on Firetree are "Orc and Beans" and "They Might Be Tauren." I suppose there are funny alliance guild names on my server, too, but all the ones I run into are of the melodramatic emo-loser variety...

I have my alt sitting in a guild called "Unguilded Farmer," I actually had some real chinese gold farmers asking if they could join in extremely garbled english not too long ago.

One of the big ones on Lightninghoof that I love seeing is Shadow Bunnies - how can you possibly keep your dignity after being trounced by a Shadow Bunny?

Mystic Cheerios is one of my favorite guild names, but Shaman trainer (alliance guild) was probably the most entertaining one I've seen on my server.

Over on Turalyon we have a guild called . I think it's also a one-man guild from what I heard.
Our guild also created an alt, mostly tauren only guild called
I'm not kidding about the name though.

Tooting our own horn(s), I have to say, I think our guild name is pretty funny: "Cluckwork Orange". We wear orange tabards and run around with pet chickens all the time.

I always found "If Ganked Will Log Main" funny, I don't know why. I've also seen "Fat Guys in Little Coats" a nice chris farley reference
