Blizzard did some maintenance on Bloodhoof, Arthas and Stormrage on Friday evening, hoping for improved server stability. While Arthas seems to be fine, Stormrage has experienced severe lag tonight, and Bloodhoof crashed entirely. Bloodhoof's realm forums have gotten particularly ugly, although if I were a betting man I would wager that a lot of those posts are destined for deletion. In all fairness to Blizzard, Friday's small fix was not the final solution they promised, rather a stop gap to try to relieve some pressure.

Hopefully the promised server upgrades are coming quickly. It can't come a minute too soon for the residents of the most unstable realms.
