A lot of these problems are solved with money. I always tip out. If a person goes out of their way to assist me on a quest, if a rogue picks a lockbox for me, etc. I never seem to have a problem. Unfortunately, many players don't understand that. There was one Sunday a guy was looking for help to complete a 1K Needles quest. I asked how much he was tipping out for it. (I asked for 1g) He got offended and stated, "I'm not paying anyone to help me." I said "okay" and went on my way. For the next two days he was still in the LFG channel begging people to help on the same quest.
