The way I look at it is this. You can play WSG or AB starting at really low levels, giving you the oppurtunity to start gain rep early on. However AV you have to be 51 to start with rep farming. If you have been playing bgs since level 10 then you would have a lot of catching up to do once you hit 51 to grind av to the level equal to your WSG and AB rep. This is why I think they made AV a faster rep grind. Since I was lvl 10 I have always qued up for BG's and quested til one popped. so I had a huge head start on rep with the WSG and AB factions.
