Cross-Realm Battlegrounds... or not.

It seems like just yesterday (or was it actually yesterday?) that the cross-realm battlegrounds were the talk of the town. However, something seems to have gone wrong with the system, as illustrated in the screen-shot to the right, which was taken last night. One Arathi Basin up? One Warsong Gulch? One Alterac Valley? And interestingly enough, they're all full of players from my realm and only my realm. Now, I can't find anything about this on any of the official forums, but it seems to me that cross-realm battlegrounds are... well, not! Are cross-realm battlegrounds down for the count? Cross-Realm BGs still seem to be working fine on EU servers, was playing 30 mins ago :)

Yeah, it was a little laggy. But so what. If that warrior with his /charge thing and his Hand of Ragnaros all big and bag and orange can't catch up to me, but my bolts will fly to the four corners of the map, all of them, to catch him, that's his problem, not mine. Not really.
I'm sure they'll be back. The potential for finally getting some faction with the Outriders and the Defilers (and the last of the Frostwolf) is too good to lose!

We had like 60 AB's up, 110 WSG's and atleast 6 AV's last night.
Maybe your battlegroup is broken?

I played for around 4 hrs yesterday evening in Warsong and let me tell you....Cross Realms KIX ASS! I never waited for more than 10min each time and above all its nice to be able to login and have immediate pvp encounters when u want it. Connections were also fast, although i did see some people get disconnected or maybe they abandoned, but the system sent someone to replace them immediatley. I had around 15 diff BG instances yesterday evening on Onyxia to choose from so i know some other realms out there are having just as much fun

I played last night on lightbringer and had different relms playing in PVP. Maybe its server to server issues, good luck.

It works fine for us on EU realms. and it works great!
at WG 20-29, there is about 15 bg at every moment. I've not checked with my level 60 char.. but there must be alot more!

Battlegroup 5 was working fine last night.
Horde tearin' it up in AB! Woot woot! Got about 6-7 ABs in a few hours, lost one.

The only thing ive been doing on WoW is playing on the cross realms since they came out. trust me, they work.

On our EU-Server we have cross-realms all the way, all working and all fun. We can now play whenever we want to. Want to do Arathi at 3.30 in the morning? no problem!
It's really great fun now!
