I actually don't have a main. I have four Alliance characters on Nargonnon. I try to keep them at about the same level, not very sucessfully because I like my pally and hunter more to my rougue's loss. I have a 38 pally, a 34 hunter, and a 17 rogue. They all feed a lvl 5 warrior auction mule who rakes in the gold for them. It's great because each alt feeds the professions of the other alts and I can pass armor, weapons, potions, easily between them. I'm not worried about getting to 60 - i'll get there eventually and if I have two up there at a time, so much the better. I will echo earlier comments that playing several alts at once gives me an appreciation of the abilities of each class and make me more aware of what each can do in a group. I do have 3 Horde characters on Kael'thas that I don't play very often and I started an undead on Venture Co. to try my hand at RPPVP - we'll see how that works out.
