Some BC hunter love...maybe.
[Warning: I know these are likely BS but just in case they aren't]Mere days after I whined about hunters not getting any Burning Crusade details (I whine about hunters a lot) comes this post on the official WoW Hunter forum with some supposed leaked hunter talents.
The hunter community seems to be calling BS on these, but they are good fodder for discussion anyway.
There are no details on new pet abilities or skills other than the 41 point Beast Mastery talent Call for Aid, but at this point I am so starved for details I will read anything.
I'll post the details after the break. Now the first hint these are bogus is the fact they have a few pretty basic spelling mistakes (I have left them in if you are bored and want to seek them out). Although considering it is an Alpha test and the talents aren't official it is possible no one ran them through a spell check yet, possible, but not likely.
I must say, the 41 point Marksman talent Deadly Aim looks pretty sweet though.

Honestly, these seems pretty well in line with what Hunters should expect in the Expansion...Higher impact on Survival and Marksman trees and a slight improvement to Beast Mastery. I'd be slightly more inclined now to spec more towards Survivalist, Readiness being an absolute must. INteresting for sure.

Well first of all, this post was made a week ago on the forums.
Second of all, if you read the title of the post you'll realize they're fake as admitted by the original poster himself. It's just another "wouldn't it be cool if..." type post. Hunter talents do not exist in alpha at the moment, end of story. :)

The title of the forum post says "fake potential", I see no admission by anyone that they are confirmed to be fake.
Either way, I posted them as food for thought more than anything.
Adam Sep 8th 2006 3:08PM
They are well done for fake, but some of the wording gives it away.
Also the fact that people playing alpha have already confirmed the new hunter talents don't even exist yet.
I also love most of the talents mentioned, which is further confirmation that they'll probably be fake. lol

There's a similar list of talents at:

Maybe an updated version of the above. Could be real. Or both could be utter BS. Who knows?

I would be most pleased with some more improvement to BM tree..
And two pets of course :-) that would be challange..
(~wild dreams: two 1.0 pet freezing+Bestial Wrath :-)
~ wild dreams2.0: ALL beast would be tameabe, some Drakonkin too :-))
But at least I expect at least to allow me to train and retrain my own pet..

Armor Piercing Rounds
Rank 3/3
Requires 30 points in Marksman Talents
Your ranged attacks will ignore 600 of the targets armor.
So you are saying that mages will have about -40/50% armour against our attacks yet we can 2-3 shot them already? Erm.... nope.

Steadies your aim, causing your ranged attacks not to miss and increasing your critical strike chance by 30%. Lasts 10 sec.

considering the confirmed changes to critical, this is obviously a fake. (not to mention omfg overpowered)

About the Pets post from Huma, this is a rumor, but i have heard that hunters will be able to tame some trolls... Not the humanoid type trolls like the player models. More of the Trolls say, from ST or like the Beast in BRD. just a rumor though, id like to tame some sort of dragonkin too, with a dragonbreath cone attack or something.
