Breakfast Topic: Luckiest Day Ever

One day, about a year ago, I was grinding for Argent Dawn rep in the Plaguelands. I downed a Crypt Fiend and it dropped a Hanzo Sword. While not particularly valuable, it was the first BOE blue I had looted in months. Happy with my find, I kept on grinding. Not twenty minutes later, on yet another undead mob, I looted an Orb of Deception! Now this was worth something! On Bloodhoof it was selling for upwards of 500 gold at the time. About an hour later, a couple guildies needed help finishing Stratholme. I was in the area, so I headed off to the instance. On my way, a plaguehound and one of those annoying bats knocked me off my mount. Instead of running, I went ahead and killed them. Good thing I did, as the plaguehound dropped a Glowing Brightwood Staff. To this day that is the only BOE epic I have ever looted outside of an instance. In fact, I don't think I have found a single valuable blue since that day either.
That was far and away my luckiest day in WoW. What's your luckiest day? Ever walk out of MC with 5 new epics? Find an amazing pricing error in the auction house?

The day My guild gave me a Shadow Blade after having looted a Krol blade because

Just this weekend I got Magician's Mantle from the AH for only 30 silver on my new mage. But instead of using them, I deicded I would be happier with some greens and the 10g I got from selling them.

When I first started using Auctioneer, it suggested buying a stack of Rockshard Pellets for 1.5g and reselling it for 200g. I thought this was outrageous, but I figured that 1.5g was worth tthe gamble, so I went ahead and bought it out. I relisted it for 200g as auctioneer suggested and it didn't sell. So then I decided to continue relisting it at a lower price until it did sell, so up it went for 100g. I logged in the next day expecting the bullets to have expired only to find out that they had sold!!
As it turns out, someone had been trying to fool people by splitting a stack of rockshard pellets into single bullets and selling each bullet for 1g. If there were no other stacks of 200 pellets on the AH at the time, it appeared that you could get a stack for 1g. Auctioneer had scanned this person's scam a couple of times, so it naturally thought that 200 rockshard pellets went for 200g. Someone else using auctioneer must have figured that a 100g gamble was worth it for 100g profit.
As far as I know, the person who bought the rockshard pellets off me has never sold them. But I had no trouble buying my mount after that transaction!

I was lvl 59 and short on cash for my epic mount, did not know what I was going to do. I was killing in winterspring when I luckily found an epic ring. Sold it on the AH for 500 gold really helpd me.

Few Weeks ago i was in EPL with my recently new 60 Warrior. A friend asked me to join a group for UBRS.
I supposed that could be another PUG, but it was a Scorpid Alliance (Burning Legion - A) run.
It was VERY fast, Rend come down FAST as hell, and he dropped:

No warrior needed all that.

Few hours later i did another run, with another PUG and got

The first blue item I remember getting was while I was soloing and working on a quest in the wetlands. It was Blackfang http://thottbot.com/?i=5182 a nice dagger to be sure but I rarely use daggers as a priest, though I did train for them. Sold it to buy some equipment I will use more often.

Picked up a Krol Blade from a Winterfall furbolg in Winterspring, then not an hour later an Assassination Blade dropped off an owlbeast in the same area.
That was 750g in the span of a few hours.

Buying a full set of portals of somebody that was quitting for 5g then going to MC and getting 5/8 Nightslayer in one night.

Wow, my luckiest day was when I scored Recipe: Flask of Distilled Wisdom from Balnazzar in Scarlet Stratholme. It was one of those runs in which everything got sharded, because all of the blues that dropped were mail and we have no hunter. So this dropped, and despite it's rarity, it's coded as a green. There were no alchemists in the party, and nobody really thought it was worth anything, and I wasn't sure how much either. I figured maybe 100g or so at the most. So anyway, we were dividing up the shards and BOEs, and I decided to take a gamble and snag this for my loot, while everyone else walked away with crap like shards and beaststalker's bracers and such. Come to find out, it was worth 950g at the time. That was an epic mount's worth of money in one day!

Purdddy much I walk into mc as a warlock, all felheart dropped! and i got all my entire set in 1 run, including the boe's... It was a complete shack and ah and lots of other class's moaning and groaning, now felheart hardly drops for our mc runs.. luckly now I got my entire tier 2 set and enjoying myself more and more.
second luckiest thing, went into scholo with my lucky charm, krol blade drops, then 3m later glowing brightwood staff, then a epic axe dropped. Then on last boss the staff dropped...

I was farming for elemental earth in the badlands once, and some BOE epic boots dropped. Was a nice 200g, and my only epic world drop ever.

The day our guild bank got hacked with a keylogger scam and everything was sharded, sold, and destroyed... thousands upon thousands of gold in items. Hm... probably not the best day for us... but the farmers.. they hit jackpot.

MMmm...well outside of getting loot on MC raids, which has a certain inevitability about it, the luckiest drop I got was probably Hurricane which dropped in one of the Plaguelands off a random mob.

Guild run through of UBRS then LBRS. We left with 1 epic pattern, 33 blues, and plenty of greens. We left not 1 mob alive.

Seems like my luck runs in streaks also. I remember a long while back when my first character was grinding in Desolace. I was killing the demons in the NE corner, just for money and XP, and I got a green on my 2nd kill, then a couple more right after. I kept killing for well over an hour, and filled my empty bag spots with greens. It was better than a twink run through Deadmines! Went to Nijel's to sell off the junk and mail out some green, when I got back to the demons, they stopped dropping.
Just a few days ago, my mage was doing the Tier .5 quests, the part where you gather the ectoplasm. While killing in Silitus, the Jeweled Amulet of Cainwyn dropped (only my second BoE epis wold drop ever). And later that same night while collecting ectoplasms in EPL, a Hanzo Sword dropped, and shortly after, a blue BoE dagger (can't remember the name, but it sold for over 200g). That was a good day.

Learning to fish at level 24 and pulled The One Ring out of Loch Modan! (you know, not quite as good as the 2 ring..)
Decided to stick it on the AH for a joke of 1000G ... and it sold!
needless to say, changed the game for me and my partner.

I was killing wolves in feathermoon for meat and a staff of jordan droped sold for like 180g.
