Around Azeroth: The loneliest farm in Kalimdor

I love the interesting and unknown places you can locate when exploring Azeroth, and reader Bodah of Hallowed Arcana on Kirin Tor sends in two great shots of a tiny abandoned farm at the Southwestern tip of Kalimdor (the overhead shot seen above and this player's eye view of the place) With a fifteen minute swim (in aquatic form) from the nearest accessible beach, it's no surprise the place was abandoned. Bodah further informs us that there's a large network of caves in the area. So what did Blizzard have planned for this place when they put it together, and what might become of it in the future? Your guess is as good as mine!

It would be neat if we could see a map of the general location of these places... Just a red dot or something.

Woo Hoo! I'm semi-famous!
The location of this farm is literally on the southwestern tip of Kalimdor. The caves are just a little southeast of the farm, again along the coast. The closest access to the water would be Feralas, but getting in by the pirates in Tanaris and swimming west is also possible. If you go to mapwow.com, you can zoom in on the area and see both locations.
Next time I get bored I will complete my circumnavigation by going over the northern tip of Kalimdor from Feralas where I got out of the water.
This farm was totally deserted when I stopped by; I wish they had a resident or two like the dwarven farm on the coast east of Arathi Highlands...

Try the Furbolg huts in the roots of Teldrassil too. I haven't gone completely around the tree, but there are interesting things off to the East.

Speaking of hard-to-get to places - is there a way to get up to the airstrip in Dun Morough? I fly over that all the time heading to the Wetlands and see the planes, the dwarves fighting trolls on the frozen lake - and I've seen a subterranean tunnel, but I don't know where the other end is.

Zigbee -
There used to be a bug in WoW that was called "wall-walking". It was a bug that would let you, if you hit just the right angle, walk on just about any near-vertical surface. People were known to use this technique to get up the the airstrip.
However wall-walking was corrected long ago, and to my knowledge there is no legitimate way to get up there.

Yes there is a way to get to the airfield without wall walking.
I did it several months ago, I just rode my mount up between the two large tunnels to the wetlands. If you try getting up to the left(while heading to the wetlands), you can find a way. Just google it, a few people have posted more detailed instructions on the net.
