More Burning Crusade rumors

One of our fine readers (Thanks Spooty!) sent in this interesting tidbit in regards to the expansion. Spooty followed the links to one of the Burning Crusade previews Blizzard has been touting on their WoW.com front page the last day or so (and we linked to a week ago). When he read it, he noticed this last line..."Keep your eyes peeled for Burning Crusade, due for release sometime in December."
Hmmmm...
The preview has been up for about a week now, and I read it, but I didn't notice that line. I know it is absolutely nothing official, or even something that is credible, BUT, the guys who wrote this article were invited by Blizzard to preview the expansion. Maybe they know something that the rank and file Internet junkies don't. Maybe Blizzard let it slip about December, and maybe, just maybe, the guys at bit-tech.net let it slip on their site.
Wow. That's a lot of maybes. But I thought it was kind of interesting, so I thought I'd throw it out to you guys to debunk, argue and charm us all with your comments. You'll find the December line at end of the third page of their preview.

... they are 3rd party and not official. It is like how the retailers are specifing a late November release. November or December is the best bet for the expansion, but nothing if official, just educated guesses...

their goal would most likely be for christmas time, if not, probably feb or april, depending on the next Large launch period.

Yes, Beth. Amazon, however, is still just a retailer. Their guesses should probably be taken just as seriously as EB, or any other game shop (who's dates differ, mind you).

You missed that the other preview (on TrustedReviews.com) also suggests a December release date:
"Burning Crusade has definitely moved on since I saw it a few months ago, and hopefully Blizzard will be able to hit its pre-Christmas release date in December."
However, both web sites are UK-based, and it's quite possible that Blizzard is planning to release in North America before going overseas.
