Extended realm maintenance

I was going to list all of the servers getting some sort of extended maintenance Tuesday, but there are a bunch, so it might be easier for you to take advantage of the magic of the Internet and click this handy link. Well, not really easier for you, but a lot easier for me! And it really is A LOT of servers. A bunch of realms will be coming down at midnight PST, and another batch will be coming down at 3 AM PST. The midnight group won't be back up until tomorrow at noon PST.
With all this maintenance, I suspect they could be getting ready for a major event. Whatever could that be?

The burning crusade was an item in my Amazon Gold Box yesterday ($2 off, w00t!), don't know if that means anything or not.

Today will be unplayable I imagine. With that many realms offline for so long, the few that are up will be swamped with people not smart enough to figure out "hey...I can do something BESIDES play WoW!"
Time to fire up the 360.
