The seven wonders of WoW

There's a discussion on the official forums trying to decide what the seven wonders of the World of Warcraft might be. While there's a good amount of disagreement (and plenty of meaningless spam) in the thread, many players seem to be chiming in with the similar suggestions....
- Dalaran and its magical bubble (Alterac Mountains)
- The Dark Portal (Blasted Lands)
- The statue in front of Booty Bay (Stranglethorn Vale)
- The Twin Colossals (Feralas)
- Kharazan (Deadwind Pass)
- The Stonewrought Dam (Loch Modan)
- The Alter of Storms (Burning Steppes)

The caverns of time arent open to the public legaly yet! so you cant include them, you have to wait for it to be unveiled and go "ooh, 8th wonder!"

Well - considering that the seven wonders of the world are all man-made, I'd have to disagree with the Twin Collosals making the list. In its place would just have to be Blackrock Mountain, from the bottom of the cavernous Blackrock Depths, to the top of Nefarian's throne on Blackrock Spire. I can't think of anything else on such a grand scale. Perhaps the Temple of Ahn'qiraj? I dunno...

I would not bet my money on the Altar of Storms in the Burning steppes, There's a exactly the same looking altar in Blasted Lands too ;)
My favourite Wonder is the Blackrock. I mean ... ever looked down from the UBRS Balcony to Lava? That Rock hanging there.. that's a really amazing look.
Some odditity.. No Horde Wonders are present in that list.. ;). The Stonewrought Damm is a Dwarf Building.. but I haven't seen a mention of any interesting Orc buildings ?

well, what horde wonders are there, really?
if 'feat of engineering' is your criteria, the closest thing i could think of is all of thunderbluff itself.
on that same token, the tram between ironforge and stormwind is far, far, far more spectacular example than say, the altar of storms.

The altar of storms is where the horde got their heroes in WC3, so I guess it would be a Horde Wonder.
I don't agree with most of these, though, because you know their purpose :

People who complain about the people who do the "first" thing as the entire subject of the post are space-wasters and double dog retards. :P

I always wondered about Uldum in Tanaris. Of course that wont be out until BC, so i would have to go with Dalaran just because I always wonder what is in there.

The Stonewrought Dam definitely.
The first time I got in front of that thing I panned around with my mouth open. The attention to detail on it and the design work were amazing. It was then I was hooked.

My personal "Seven Wonders of Azeroth" list, in ascending order:
7. Teldrassel - A tree massive enough to house an entire nation. Many night elf players Ive talked to didnt even know that Teldrassel is a tree, thats how large it is.
6. Dalaran - Will we ever see inside the magical sphere? And what has become of the mages there in? I am dying to know.
5. The Deeprun Tram - Im not sure which is more impressive, the fact that the gnomes and dwarves managed to create such a long underground tunnel, or the fact that a gnomish-built machine still runs properly to this day.
4. Silithus - I dont think a single zone filled me with as much awe and dread as the first time I entered Silithus. Seeing the towers in the distance, covered in streaming swarms of insects, was complete a rush. This was before the Cenarian Hold existed, much less the opening of Ahn'Qiraj. The great door to AQ was there to the south, silent and sealed, playing with your curiosity.
3. The Dark Portal - So much blood was shed to open it, and even more to reseal it. And yet it will soon open again...
2. Blackrock Mountain - Spend a minute thinking about the feats of architecture required to create a rocky tomb suspended by massive iron chains over a cauldron of boiling lava.
1. The Shrine of the Fallen Warrior - The first time I came upon this, I actually cried. I still feel chills just thinking about it. If you havent visited it yet, be sure to look it up on the net, as well as the reason that its there.
