I AH almost all tradeskill items with the exception of most cooking supplies. The rest gets vendored.

Blues and purples either go to an alt (or main) or get AH'd.

I've been using the AH since the game was released, and made an AH/Bank alt on day 1, which I have been using ever since for all my AH transactions... I have an AH alt on both Alliance and Horde side, and a system in place for trading/transferring between the two factions.
