Official hunter talents released!

You heard correctly -- we have official news on hunter talents and spells. (I'm linking them via the European site, because the US site seems to be swamped right now.) These talents seem very similar to what we saw leaked last week, even including the odd "snake trap" ability. (Let the "snakes on a..." jokes begin!) And, before you ask -- yes, that is a legitimate screenshot from the website.

If you check out the screenshots, the hunter's name is Jamaican and the pet's name is Mecrazy. Haha, I love it.

The movement of Hawk Eye to the survival tree really kills it for BM/MM hunters like myself. You either lose the +30% dmg on crits, or the 41 yd attack range. Time to roll a BE pally :D

Honestly, I'm trying to figure out what the delay was all about. I was hopeful that there was going to be some really cool stuff, but now I'm trying to figure out why the Hunter information was last....totally anti-climactic from my perspective. I thought this was going to liven up my Monday, but after about 10 minutes, I moved back into work mode with a ho-hum feeling.
I think I'll be rolling a BE Pally as well. Let's see how the little Allies like playing AGAINST easy-mode. hehehehe

I'm hoping this will get its own front page post, but Kalgan let slip some really mind-blowing other hunter changes in a thread on this. I think THESE changes may be what was holding up the talent review:

Or even better, use Goblin Workshop's Blizzard Forum Watch ( http://www.goblinworkshop.com/blizzard-employee-posts.html ) and scan only the Hunters forum. Pretty much everything by Kalgan today is gold.
And yes, Brian, this covers the AGI -> RAP question. (Short answer, 1 AGI = 1 RAP... but there's more to it than that.)

It seems to me that the hunter chooses who he wants to dump aggro onto with misdirection, therefore eliminating any priests fear of gaining accidental aggro.

you, know I've been waiting for my chance to pick apart the new talents -- and it has arrived! Man.. People will be CRYING now that traps are usable in combat... I basically see that as a slap in the face to the FD/Trap whiners =P
And Misdirection will be awesome... Finally no excuse NOT to have a hunter pull!
