World of Chalkcraft!

I know, I know -- it's a goofy title, but seeing this huge chalk-art version of World of Warcraft, how could I resist? Apparently the finished work (located in San Diego, CA), took over 13 hours, spread out over two days, to complete. That's a lot of effort for something that's going to vanish in the first hard rain -- but fortunately, the process is documented with these beautiful photos on the artist's website.

On the plus side, it barely ever rains in San Diego. They average around 10" of rain for the whole year, and they're below that this year. :p

what would be cool is if she could have done it like that guy that makes his chalk renderings look like they are real life. if you look at them from a certain angle they look like a giant hole in the ground or a lady sunbathing by the pool, it's pretty awesome.
