Planning to stockpile XP for the Burning Crusade?
Do you have twenty completed quests just waiting to turn in come the expansion? Bad news...that plan might not work. According to Tseric in this thread from the WoW.com forums, the WoW team is considering options to limit or outright eliminate a burst of XP from these methods. While I can understand they would rather have people enjoy the new content and not make a mad dash to 70, I can also see some folks who will be highly annoyed if they nerf this little XP scheme.
I know several guildies who have a questlog full of completed quests just waiting to turn them all in come the expansion. They also have garnered some other items they are going to use to pad their experience totals come the BC launch, like AD and AQ rep turn ins. I always thought that was a pretty clever idea, and they will have a headstart come BC at hitting level 61. I haven't done it, as I am not in any huge rush to level, but if getting to 70 ASAP is a goal, the stockpiling plan is a winner.
Any of you guys stockpiling XP? If so, how annoyed are you going to be if Blizzard limits or eliminates your XP?

If the going estimate on getting from level 60 to 70 is "about twice as long as getting from 50 to 60", then I think this is the right way to go about handling stockpiling.
Nothing would be worse than within 2 hours of beta release, already having people level 61+, without even needing to experience new (or even interactive) content. All they'd need to do is fly, turn in, fly, turn in, et eternum until their quest log was empty.
Everyone's in a rush to get to level 70, but unless Blizzard has some gigantonormous secret up their sleeves, I can't help but feel it's going to be a rep/instance grind-fest until the next expansion comes out (and thus raises the cap again). Weren't the most fun times of this game with the leveling system? Where doing quests yielded new experiences, new discoveries, new loot, and most importantly, a sense of character progress?
Savor the leveling process. There's tons to discover. If the core idea of the expansion was to be level 70 to have fun, they'd just give you level 70 out of the box.

Are you high? Raiding is infinitely more fun than leveling characters. Leveling is such a boring grind! It's also a far less unique experience than raiding is.

Whether raiding or leveling was your favorite is more or less subjective. The point I was trying to make was not "A is superior to B", but both have their own merits.
Whether or not you remember leveling your first character, I'd have to assume you found it fun, or else you would've never gotten to 60 to partake in raiding. If you had raiding in your mind since your first character's inception, then kudos to you- but I assure you quite a few of us didn't. There's a game you play in-between those raids, which pretty much dwarf raids overall, and is my reasoning for saying the leveling process is a large piece of what makes World of Warcraft what it is.
Now, you sure hear a lot more people quitting over "boring end-game content" (one part being, running the same raids week after week... and the other poignant reason being reputation grinds) than the acclaimed questing/slight-grinding system WoW has in place. Not to say people aren't quitting from getting bored leveling, but going from General forum posts alone, this would be the assumed data.

My opinion of levelling being the best part of the game is..
The first lvl 60 was great, exploring new areas quests and instances but then any other alts its the same old grind to get up to 60 and raiding.
Hopefully I will enjoy the quests and challenges to 70 but then imagine it will be the same again old grind with the other's

"how would they deal with stockpile of Rep items ?"
My understanding is that the rep wouldn't change, you just wouldn't get any XP or you would get a lower value XP for the turn-ins. I don't think they're going to lessen the amount of rep you get from the turn-ins.

I think leveling WAS definitely the best part of the game. You can say no or anything like that, but I have to say it was the best times in this game. It was the times where I actually met friends through the game. Questing together and killing alliance players like a lynch mob was definitely fun.
I think it's all about the fun than just raiding with seriously over-hyper 20 year olds yelling at you via vent when they don't realize it's JUST A GAME. That's probably why I spend most times with my alts than my lvl 60s.

For me, PvP is king. I detest PvE play. Levelling is just an asinine gimmick that companies use to keep the monthly fees rolling in.
