Well now that the BC closed beta is up and rolling, we probably won't be too worried about what the CMs have to hint at about the expansion (since so many people will be playing it for themselves). But before we get to that point, Drysc has one more little hint for us about flying mounts.

Nether drakes, as we all know, will be epic flying mounts-- faster than normal (how fast, we're not sure yet) and pretty sweet looking. But before epic flying mounts, there are normal flying mounts to get, and at least to start, Drysc says those will be faction specific. Horde will get armored wyverns, and Alliance will get armored griffons. Those mounts will be the same for all races of a faction-- no special NE or gnome mounts (at this point in time, anyway).

Disappointed? I am, a little. I'm sure there will be lots and lots of new and different mounts to pick up in the expansion (that was the main reason, I believe, for the awkward changes in mount price). But I was expecting a little more variety with the new flying mounts. As with all things BC, I guess we'll have to see what happens.
