Around Azeroth: The Twin Colossals

Sent in by reader Bryan, this shot of one of the Twin Colossals gives us some sense of the scale of the massive monuments that flank the road through Feralas (up towards Desolace). Perhaps the most entertaining thing about this particular feature is the Elf standing at the bottom offering to teleport you to the top (and, trust me, the view is great up there!) and the Elf standing at the top selling parachutes. Wheeee!

its funny how you can get teleported up there and buy a parachute on top to get down safe!

This is one of my favorite things to do in WoW actually....I go there from time to time just to base jump off. Careful not to open your parachute too early though, as it only last about 6 seconds and it takes longer to get down. SO if you pop it early, it will run out and you'll SPLAT.
Want a challenge? Dive off sans parachute and head for the water. If you hit in the right spot (where it is deep enough), you won't take damage.

where is the elf at the bottom? near the road? i have been past that loads of times and never seen anyone offering to teleport you anywhere! it sounds fun..
