Character transfers now on a three month cooldown

First six months. Then one month. Now three months.On one hand, I am happy Blizzard is fixing what they perceive as a mistake. On the other, didn't they think this through? They deal with whiny crybabies on the forums all day everyday. I would think that when they make a decision, they'd already know what the first four pages of responses are going to look like, so they wouldn't then have to turn around and react to the complaining. If anything, this could make the whiners cry louder on the next issue, as Blizzard buckled on this one so quickly.
I see the pros and cons of the one month transfer issue. And frankly I don't care much one way or the other, I just find it a little weird that they switched the policy so darn fast. Additionally, a lot of people liked the idea.
Well, if you wanted to transfer a character again that you transferred last month, I hope you got in while the getting the was good.

I doubt it has so much to do with whiners as finding a proper balance for the amount of traffic the transfer system can take. The reason it changed so quickly is probably that they had too much of a demand when they bumped it down to one month, and are increasing the time frame again to alleviate the flow.

It can't be too bad. Me and my friends got transferred last night within an hour of the request. :)

Someone probably had a common sense attack and realized one month was far too exploitable. Okay, so everyone who transferred to a bad realm gets to switch out quickly.
Come 2-4 months from now, the only folks using the service will be your gold farmers getting gold to new expansion servers, ninjas trying to wipe their tinged reputation, and maaaybe the occasional I-chose-a-bad-realm victim.

Damn. That means that I'm faced with going up those last few levels, and doing attunement quests, in pickup groups. So much for getting her to 60 before the expansion hits. :( After BC comes out, there's too much that I want to do with my main, and I want to start levelling a Draenei. Poor lost Kitsunecho - no Blizz love for us.
