Around Azeroth: The Beast

I know the first time I ventured into Upper Blackrock Spire, I found this guy pretty terrifying. (Now he just looks like a friendly puppy dog -- a miniature Core Hound.) For those of you who have never been here, Alistairover of Thunderhorn sends in this shot of the Beast in his bone-covered lair, some time before he's noticed a party of tasty looking adventurers. For first-timers, be aware that a Gnome is usually sacrificed to the Beast -- the first target he attacks he'll knock back and into the air, and every Alliance party I've run with has used this as an opportunity for a game of Gnome football.
Do you have a unique shot of Azeroth that you'd like to show off to the rest of the world? Tell us about it by e-mailing aroundazeroth@gmail.com! You can attach a picture file or send us a link to one -- and don't worry about formatting, we'll take care of that part. If yours isn't posted immediately, don't fret! Shots are posted (more or less) in the order received, and yours will come up eventually.

Uh oh, it's Alistairover of the Gothic Bunnies. Don't go on any raids with him in UBRS-- if you're a Shaman, your shoulders will NEVER DROP.

I just killed The Beast last night with my guild. A few weeks ago he dropped the Finkle's Skinner for me (+10 skinning dagger that will allow you to skin the higher level mobs in here and other places). He's a fun boss but not too hard to take down. Darkk is more fun and has much better loot but The Beast is cool too.

Gothic Bunnies? Geez, I wish my guild had such a cool name...

I kite the General back to the Beast's lair, so he always dies when I run in UBRS. I skinned a pristine hide once when I was around to skin him. Too bad it went to the guild bank(it was an all-guildie run).
