Why didn't the girls in my high school wear this for Halloween?

As I was reading Joystiq this evening, this post caught my eye. I have been kind of out of WoW loop today, and I didn't notice that they crowned Halloween Costume Contest winners on WoW.com. Perhaps I should have paid closer attention...
She's really pretty, which I am sure helped their cause. And the warlock outfit the guy is wearing is really well done too. The sad thing is, it looks like he did a lot more work on his outfit and 50% of the population will never even notice the darn thing.
Seriously though, a lot of people put a ton of effort into some really impressive costumes (the Tauren is phenomenal), and you should go and check them out!

Oh god... That costume is awesome :O It's cool when someone put so much effort in it... These two really deserved to win! And oh my god i want Nemesis on my lock :D

I really dont think these two deserved to win, look at that friggin tauren costume!!!!!!!! its like 1000x more creative and looks like it had alot more effort put into it.

OMG...I just realized there's someone dressed as a warlock in that pic :)
I don't quite understand why some were winners and some were just honorable mentions...I really thought the rogue..pic #26, i think...was really good and should have gotten something a little higher than honorable mention

Man, what I'd really like to see is those kidlets in Honorable Mention #26 make a video of them stalking random people and "ganking" them. "BACKSTAB! BACKSTAB!"

It's a nice costume, but I really liked the elf girls best. Check out the details in their armor.
But props to everyone. Those are some great costumes all around.

Yeah, I have to agree, it's not like this costume is more creative, or required more work than the other ones... but damn.
I mean, if the warlock hadn't been in the picture, I still think this one would've won.

You guys have AWESOME costumes. I like how you have the look of a high-level warlock on WOW. I also really like the demon costume. I haven't seen the tauren one yet but I will.
