New BC information quietly posted [Updated]

Stealth buffs seem so silly to me. Why would they want to sneak in good stuff without announcing it? But there's a new section in the Burning Crusade spells page for every class giving information on spells obtained from talents, and it contains some interesting info that's not matched by the talent calculator. (Maybe these are just typos?)
Specifically, on the priest's page, I see the following changes (okay, they're not all buffs):
Pain Suppression: Now has a 30 yard range -- suggesting it's targetable.Circle of Healing: Now has a super exciting 3 minute cooldown.Vampiric Touch: Now instant cast.
On the warlock's page, there's a great new listing of Felguard abilities:
- Demonic Frenzy, Requires Level 56, Passive: The Felguard's damaging melee attacks cause a demonic frenzy, increasing attack power by 5% for 10 sec. This effect can stack up to 10 times.
- Avoidance, Requires Level 60, Passive: Increases your chance to avoid area of effect attacks by an additional 50%.
- Anguish, Requires Level 50, 90 Mana, 5 yd range, Instant cast, 5 sec cooldown: Taunts the creature, increasing the chance that it will attack the Felguard.
- Cleave, Rank 1, Requires Level 50, 295 Mana, 5 yd range, Instant cast, 6 sec cooldown: A sweeping attack that does your weapon damage plus 32 to the target and his nearest ally. (Rank 2: 295 Mana, plus 50 damage; Rank 3: 295 Mana, plus 78 damage)
- Intercept, Rank 1, Requires Level 52, 145 Mana, 8-25 yd range, Instant cast, 30 sec cooldown: Charge an enemy, causing 65 damage and stunning it for 3 sec. (Rank 2: 160 Mana, 85 damage; Rank 3: 195 Mana, 105 damage)
- Waterbolt, Requires Level 50, 224 Mana, 35 yd range, 2.5 sec cast: Deals 486 to 558 Frost damage to the target.
- Frost Nova, Requires Level 50, 313 Mana, 35 yd range, Instant cast, 25 sec cooldown: Blasts enemies in a 8 yard radius for 114 to 126 Frost damage and freezes them in place for up to 8 sec. Damage caused may interrupt the effect.

Stealth buffs don't make sense to you? There are no such things as "stealth" buffs or "stealth" nerfs, per say. When a change is left out of the patch notes its not intentional. Its often the result of a miscommunication between the programming staff and the person that writes the notes. Why must everything be a far reaching conspiricy with some people?

HOLY SHIT! Time to dust off the lock, they now come with a pocket Warrior!

A Multi-Billion Dollar company should not have miscommunication!!!! Simple as that.
Therizo Nov 3rd 2006 8:57AM
I take it number 4 does not work for a multibillion dollar company. If two people can miscommunicate while talking to each other, why would 2000 people not miscommunicate that much more? I DO work for a multibillion dollar company, and in IT no less. This is why you'll never hear me complaining about information being different from one communication media to the next, or extended server downtimes.
Par for the course folks.

Thanks Therizo. I was next in line to make that point. UPS development for me, and I can honestly say that the juiceman's obviously never dealt with a company of Vivendi's/UPS's/Microsoft's/Google's (hell, any Fortune 500's) caliber. Miscommunication only grows with the money, as more people come on the payroll, your points-of-failure increase. Now how, exactly, would you throw money at that, juicyfruit? Something here certainly does seem simple, but I'm not even going to take this post there. Easy solution? Stop attacking Blizzard as though you have some rights to do so. So you pay a subscription fee. That's the end of your concern. Taking into consideration that a company is a multi-billion dollar entity is none of your concern. I would say that for your $15/mo., you're getting what you're paying for. If I am wrong, then please cancel that subscription. It's not like you require this service or anything; it is, after all, only a game.

Uh is it just me or is NONE of the stuff listed in this post for the priest page actually on the priest page?
Ken Nov 3rd 2006 3:10PM
It seems Neth has declared that the stealth Priest changes where incorrect and quickly had them pulled. Nothing said about, nor changed, with the Warlock changes...

I hate to break up a perfectly good debate, but there's no stealth or trickery here. (Well, except on the Rogue page.) These changes (save for the since-pulled priest changes) were on the front page of the official site yesterday, (11/2/06) just below the news post about the Encyclopedia and above the ones about the latest fan art postings and the summer movie contest.
Brommon Nov 3rd 2006 4:58PM
Oh, but yes - the Felguard's abilities freaking ROCK! Never thought I'd ever think of going demonology!
Ken Nov 3rd 2006 5:27PM
LOL. Brommon... Same thought on the Felguards... Bye-bye Affliction.
I just noticed the post on the front page as well... Stealth, I say stealth!!! Must be full page ad, indicating new changes...
After all, I have to scan a dozen sites to find all the new info....
