WoW Moviewatch: The Real Speedy

I lament the low quality of this video, but am still amused by it. In it Azric of Eldre'thalas rides from Tirisfal Glades to Stranglethorn -- on a turtle mount, acquired by obtaining a rather rare TCG card. The mount was advertised early on as traveling at 100% speed -- though, on clarification, 100% speed seems to be normal run speed. So... even with most of the video sped up, it's a 7 minute run trip across the Eastern Kingdoms.

you mean Eastern Kingdom? Both Tirisfal glades and stranglethorn are on the eastern kingdom continent.

i really want to watch that, but the quality is literally inhibitive. Someone PLEASE for the love of god post a higher quality version...

Hey all, Azric, the turtle wrangler featured in the video, here. Sorry for the low quality version at YouTube - I hadn't intended the video to be made public. You can find a better version at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7641036996850605787&hl=en . Unfortunately, due to a hard drive crash, I think that I've lost the video files for this.
And yes, the spurs, carrot on a stick, and riding enchant all add up to make this mount 9% faster than normal mount speed - I just didn't remember to put them on for the trip down, whoops. And, for those of you who thought the trip through Blackrock was boring... imagine over an hour at that speed ;)
