WoW Moviewatch: That's the World of Warcraft That You Play
I wouldn't have thought it would be possible to pack so many sweeping class generalizations into a single video -- but I have been proven wrong with this one. This was another entry in the Summer Movie Contest and landed 3rd place in the Music/Dance category.

I think that could quite possibly be the worst song I've ever heard in my life. The music was bad, the vocals were bad, the lyrics were just awkward and the generalizations could have been so much better.

I'm hard at work on a follow up video
"Thats the dumbest video ever made. Yah yah yah yah"

Agree with Freehugz. The video blows. Can't imagine how bad the others must have been for that one to take third place

The creator was obviously a fan of They Might Be Giants.

Please don't insult They Might Be Giants by associating this craptastical video with them.

I dunno...unlike all those above me, I found it amusing. :)

Yeah, I think the haters are all no-talent rogues. As a priest, I found this pretty funny. "Warrior... you are useless without a priest."

As a hunter i digress, i don't want every weapon in the game, just anything that isn't a mace or wand!

Some parts of the song were kinda odd ("That's the World of Warcraft that you play" is a bit strange sounding when said fast), but otherwise I enjoyed it, heh.

Its a parody of a "Weird Al" song, not They Might Be Giants... if that's what someone was referring to anyway.
But. Like other posters have said, could they have picked a person with a less appealing voice, or who was more tone deaf? I put it on mute and just read the lyrics.

How the hell did that make third place? That's dire.

I thought it was pretty good. Didn't flow perfectly sometimes but thoroughly entertaining.

I admit it...I liked it. However I showed it to my husband (who doesn't play WoW), and he just looked at me and then walked away. I'm pretty sure he thinks I've gone over the edge now.

I liked it.

What is wrong with you people?! I laughed out loud as I watched this and I am at work!
Just goes to show some people take things too serious...Yah yah yah yah

"...could they have picked a person with a less appealing voice, or who was more tone deaf"
The answer to this is.. *drum roll* Yes. They could have. If you need a reminder of how terrible some people are at singing, take 20 minutes to watch American Idol try-outs. Nuff said.
I noticed in all of the flaming posts of varying degree that none of them made any mention that the creator of this song was right. That's why they're so offended by the guy's not so spectacular voice. They have to find SOMETHING wrong with it.

I paused my Depeche Mode DVD for this? I could've done a better job singing it myself, only thing stopping me is the lack of microphone (I really need to get me one).

Terrible singing and unoriginal jokes. Pretty bad I'd say. For a better Weird Al inspired warcraft vid, go find that Hardware Store one posted here a few weeks ago. Good stuff that was!

I was grinning from the start. The singing was not that bad-- you want bad, try six drunken Marines and three sailors mangling Bob Marley-- and the, what's it called, production values were pretty good. Inserting characters with editing, not by moving them in the game.
Although I'm one of the rare palis who heals and has NEVER been able to bubble-hearth correctly, so what do I know? *grin*
